Rosehip Copper Ale: Craft Beer

Return to Previous Page

What Can Be More Enticing Than Roses And Hips?

This Is A Hybrid Child Of The Flanders Red Ale And The Irish Red Ale, With A Rich Coppery Hue, Lasting White Head And The Added Seduction Of Rosehips To The Mash Giving A Slight Tart Fore Taste Quickly Dissipating Into A Clean Citrus Burst Which Follows To The Back Of The Palate. Rosehips For Some Reason Increases The Carbonation (Or Perhaps It’s Something About My Brews) Therefore Whilst Still Being Smooth And Easy To Drink The Tickle Of Bubbles Adds Texture Familiar To Lager Lovers And Increases The Citrusy Notes.

The Rosehips Are As Local And As Fresh As Can Be By Being Picked By Our Local Helpers. Lightly Hopped Using Beata & Admiral Varieties Lend Floral, Honey And Citrus Tones As To Not Disturb The Delicate Flavour Of Rosehips. Introductions Of Flavoursome Speciality Belgian Malts Give Depth Whilst UK Roasted Barley Deepens The Colour.
