The Chocolate Velvet Bliss is a rich, velvety delight—perfect for an after-dinner treat or a special occasion when you want to indulge in a little bit of heaven!

Ingredients (serves: 2)

  • 50ml Choc-O-Bloc Gin
  • 2 drops of Peppermint syrup
  • 30ml Irish cream
  • 70g Chopped dark chocolate
  • 120ml Double cream
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • 1 tsp Cocoa powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate in the microwave for about 30 seconds, stirring until smooth. Once it's warm but still comfortable to touch, stir in the cream to create a rich ganache. Set aside and allow the ganache to cool to room temperature.
  2. While the ganache cools, fill a martini glass with ice to chill.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine the cooled chocolate ganache, Zymurgorium Choc-O-Bloc Gin, Baileys, and ice. Shake vigorously until the ingredients are well-mixed and thoroughly chilled.
  4. Discard the ice from the martini glass. Strain the cocktail into the chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a light dusting of cocoa powder for an elegant finish. Serve immediately and enjoy!
